The History of Seajets

Seajets is the major provider in Greece when it comes to ferry routes with high-speed vessels. Although the Greek ferry industry is highly competitive, Seajets covers a wide network of routes, being present in 50 Greek ports and serving more than 400 destinations. Constantly investing in new technology and aiming to provide reliable and also fast services, it comes as no surprise that Seajets has received many awards over time. For instance, it received the title “Passenger Line of the Year” in the Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards 2018. Furthermore, many awards have been given to several of its ships as well.

Seajets is a Greek -Cypriot company. It has operated in the shipping sector since 1989, being founded by Panagiotis and Marios Iliopoulos. In 2002, it started operating as a ferry company. Nowadays, it is the leading player in the passenger and freight ferry industry, having the largest fleet of high-speed ships in Greece. Its headquarters are to be found at Piraeus.

FAQs

How early should I arrive for Seajets?

You should be at the departure port for your upcoming sail at least half an hour before the scheduled time of the crossing. However, if you are departing from a busy port, such as Piraeus, and have to board your vehicle on the Seajets ferry as well, you should arrive at the port one hour before your departure.
