The Mykonos port bus routes are one of the most favored ways to travel for passengers looking to minimize transit expenses. The KTEL public buses run all year long to and from Tourlos Port. It comes as no surprise that routes are far more frequent during the summer, while some services are even seasonal. Still, even during the winter months, KTEL routes are generally in sync with ferry sailings. Similarly, buses from the Old Port to Tourlos Port operate hourly from 09:00 am to 10:00 pm.
• Bus from Mykonos New Port to Fabrika: Mykonos Ferry Port is also connected to the South Bus Station of Mykonos Town, known as Fabrika, as it lies close to Fabrika Square. Passengers can find available routes from 09:30 am to 10:30 pm at an hourly frequency. Buses take approximately 30 minutes to get from the port to Fabrika.
• Bus from Mykonos Ferry Port to Mykonos Airport: KTEL Buses also travel from the New Port of Mykonos to Mykonos International Airport. The first bus departs from the New Port at 09:30 am and the last one at 10:30 pm. There are routes available every hour. The duration of the ride is about 15 minutes.

Tip to Know: If your destination lies elsewhere, you’ll have to catch the bus to Mykonos Town and change to another line heading to your final stop. Overall, the Mykonos bus network is efficient, providing connections to every part of the island.

Mykonos Port Bus Fares and Prices

The bus from the New Port of Mykonos is a cheap way to travel. Indeed, tickets cost around €2-€3/$2,30-$3,50, depending on the final stop. They can be purchased from the driver or the ticket counter located right next to the bus stop at Tourlos Port. Detailed bus schedules are also displayed there. If you buy your ticket onboard, you’ll have to pay in cash. Small bills are also recommended in that case, as the driver may not have enough change. The ticket counter will most likely accept card payments as well. Alternatively, you can also buy your ticket online. Enter the KTEL buses’ website and make your reservation following the given instructions. You can select your seat and purchase round-trip tickets as well. However, you won’t find day passes.

The Mykonos Port Bus Stop

The bus stop at Tourlos Port can be found close to the ferry gates. Explicitly, it is located close to Ferry Dock 1, within a short distance from the terminal building. The ticket booth lies right next to the bus stop. Hence, passengers can easily catch the bus after disembarking from the ferry or, conversely, board the ferry after getting off the bus. It’s important to remember that the bus can fill up quickly. Hence, you should hurry to reach the bus stop unless you want to travel standing or, even worse, wait an hour for the next bus to come.
